today ken cheng will be leaving singapore for the states, in time for the new school term in his new prep school. lawrenceville i think. anywayz most of us will be there changi airport to send him off, i will try my best to make it too :) sighz, its quite sad isnt it, very soon this class of two years will be going their separate ways after prelims. in fact, yesterday was one of the last days we will be following the normal timetable. after prelims, we will be given a special timetable, then after two more weeks, we graduate. kinda sad ... time flies ...
had interclass team sports for aces day todayz. for soccer we played a group table format thingie, it was super dumb, each match were to go for five minutes only ... five-a-side, five minutes ... where's the kick manz. anywayz we played 4B, and beat them 1-0 thanks to my first time volley from a nice pass by wenjuin. after that i refereed the 4J-4C match, which ended 1-1 thanks to 2 fluke goals. we played 4J next and got thrased 2-0 coz of some poor defending ... then after the teachers called the sec fours back to assemble at the astroturf, we decided to rebel and go ahead with a last match, 4Q vs 4C. damn dumb, that pravin kicked the ball right from the start towards our keeper, who inexplicably twisted his body to help the ball in. ARGHZ, 1-0 ... and mr eric lee came over blowing his whistle demanding that we stop the game there and then, as the whole school would otherwise be kept waiting for us. bleahz. so after some lame prize-giving ceremony, we had some class party thingie. it was potato chips galore, though i din eat much. hahz ...
anywayz, zheqin n i went back to cat high primary after that. hongyi said he wanted to meet up with pengfei and joseph first, so we made a move first. we werent really sure of how to get there, but luckily zheqin had a few scraps of memory left in him, so he decided to take this bus and see where it goes. we got down at what looked like a familiar stop to him ... walked and walked ... then when we saw sngs ahead, we knew we were there. we met mrs eunice teo, who had a little difficulty recalling our names, though we visit on average twice a year. i brough a football there too, but the cat high sec guys changed their minds about going at the eleventh hour, coz they deemed it too late to go in time to see the teachers. so oh wells, we went back. really hope there will be another opportunity to play football with one another, as we always do during recesses and after school in cat high primary ...
