4Q, we shall meet again on the night of the ides of march, 2013
just came back from our gep farewell gathering 2003, which was really quite nice. we went at around 4.30 for a soccer match between 4k and 4L, which ended 3-1 in 4L's favour. then we had a short round-up of our 4 years in gep by mr magendiran, then we dug into our dinner. after that we went up to LT1 for a performance segment. zhengyang sang "can you feel the luv tonight"; followed by ian's "somewhere out there", then after more songs and a violin duet, the performance was capped off by the teachers' item. they sang "faith of the heart", with mr paul lim, who was from vjc choir, singing the lead. the atmosphere was quite nice lorhz, and i felt a little nostalgic throughout. especially at the end where they showed us two videos of us in action -- one during our gep chiangmai trip in sec 2, another from footages of our gep batch in various activities we took part in. sighz ...
the best thing was when i looked at the bookmarks the teachers gave us. for class 4Q, mrs low wrote on the back of the bookmark: "We'll meet on 15 / 3 / 2013 7pm at RI Atrium" ... i was like ... oh my ... i had as good as forgotten about the whole little promise we made on youth day, and now we have this reminder, hopefully 10 years down the road class 4Q 2003 will meet again at RI, all 26 of us including ken cheng ...
i think the song the teachers sang was quite nice, so here's the chorus:
