"Forever, and forever, farewell, Ken!
If we do meet again, we'll smile indeed;
If not, 'tis true this parting was well made."
sighz ... went to send ken off at changi airport on friday night ... it was quite sad ...
at tanah merah mrt station, i saw junkai and tim ng on the opposite platform, so we hopped onto the changi-bound train together. at changi airport, ken cheng treated us all to free cokes at macs. then we saw ken's sec three sister, who looked damn poser, much more poser than ken, rofl. omg ... ken was 'bad' enough with his highlighted hair and 'torn' long pants with 'paint' smeared over certain areas, but she was like ... white cap, white glove-like thingies stretching right over her entire forearm, more poser clothings, and a squeaky high-pitched "okaaaaay!" to match ... hahz, good stuff. hehz and for a parting gift they got ken cheng two boxes of ribbed condoms, as well as a pocket-sized kamasutra. we clearly understood (one of) mrs smith's famous phrases: "when you can't be good, be very careful". lolz ...
the 15 or so of us hanged around talking and taking pictures, then at 11.35 pm or something it was time for ken and his sister to depart. his parents went with them, but will be coming back to singapore shortly. ken's sister's friends almost simultaneously sobbed after chorusing "we love you" ... but we were busier laughing at the hilarious scene in front of us through the glass partition. ken cheng put his bag through the security check, and apparently the security guard gave a slight shake of his head ... hmmz ... think he saw what was inside ...
as it turned out, we caught the last train, but it only went as far as tanah merah, and wen juin, junkai, chester, hengliang and tim ng had to take the train to pasir ris or something, then catch the bus all the way to the west of singapore. i live in kembangan, so my dad could easily pick me up from tanah merah, but the rest had a loooong journey ahead of them. so i decided to stay with them and wait for the train with them at tanah merah, at the same time cracking jokes and talking crap ... it turned out that they only reached home at 1.30 am that morning ...
sighz ... back home i feel quite heavy inside me ... dunno what this feeling is ... sad or dunno whatz ... just hope ken can get used to the environment over there as quickly as possible in this week in time for the new school term, and hope he enjoys it over there ... fare thee well and good luck, ken! while you and your sister enjoy ur lives over there, we hafta slog away for our 'o' levels here ... sighz ... back to reality now ...
