went for the VJC talk today. the presentation by VJ was absolutely superb in my opinion. the entire package was totally awesome, which was a very nice change, trust me, from a certain jc which principal pwonounces 'environment' as 'en-wire-ment'. from what i gathered from the principal's and econs tutor's talks, as well as the seniors' extremely sincere sharing session, vjc definitely provides an excellent environment for their students. after the vjc talk, i think half of me wants to go to vjc. teck tee also says he is particularly impressed by vjc. even mr johari told me yesterday to look out for vjc today coz they have a very dynamic principal, which is very true.
after vj and nj talks, i decided to pon tjc talk, and went to play soccer. it rained too heavily at first, so we waited for an hour or so until the rain subsided somewhat, then played for more than 2 hours. we played with small goals, so there was more running and less goals. for some reason or another, ming kai became possessed towards the end of the game and went around sliding two-footed at anybody and everybody, coz it was raining quite heavily by then and the astroturf was waterlogged, so he wouldn't get astro-burns. once i was with the ball, and managed to evade his siaohz two-footed tackle, but he somehow got back up on his feet and tackled me so hard, it was not his right foot but his trailing knee or something which hit me damn darn hard on my right calf. shit, now i am feeling the pain even when walking, esp up and down the stairs ...
went for chem prac after mr ngoh came down from his office telling us to stop playing, coz he saw lightning from afar. that was the last chem prac for this year b4 our o levels. after chem prac we sorta pestered mr ong to treat us to coffee at dome. i think about half our class went, so its about $6 per person for abt 13 people ... you do the maths. talked abt almost everything under the sun with bharath, yi-xun, jiawen, ian and eugene chua and by the time we packed up and left the place, two hours had flown by. with caffeine coursing through my veins, i can now play computer for the rest of the night without nodding off and breaking my keyboard, yoohoohz ...
