i've been thinking about a few things since the concert ended ... and one of those is about the things i failed to do and experience during my time as vice-chairman of the co, or rather -- maybe -- in part because of my time as vice-chairman. for once in a long time, throughout the concert preparations and the concert itself, i experienced everything from the perspective of one without any post, one away from the stress and pressures of a post, without having to worry about this and that perpetually.
after everything i learnt a lot of things, especially how one guy changes his behaviour when placed under stressful conditions, albeit in varying degrees for different individuals. for me, looking at the committee members go about doing their job was like reading a book on psychology. and when i look at how zj and company behave, i can better relate to them and the way they react in certain situations, as compared to times under hw and wm's leadership.
"away from the stress and pressures of a post", yes indeed, but i also got to experience the pressures piled onto a non-committee member by a committee member, somewhat. i was talking to sh, and zj was calling my name, and i really didn't notice, and then he shouted at me in a pissed tone, but i wasn't really offended by that, probably because i could understand what was going through his mind at that time ... that was just one example of "pressure" from a non-cmmittee member's point of view. on other occasions, the sec fours were given all sorts of errands by zj and lsh; we were given five, long minutes to eat a plate of very disgusting fish and chips; we were given 20 minutes to go out of school and have our lunch; but then, all those were memories we'll all be cherishing for the rest of our lives ... RICO rocks, always!
